• 'Use miles for distances' - use miles instead of kilometers to indicate distances.
• 'Single icon on taskbar - show in the taskbar an icon for all components of the log (you must restart the program).
•  'Hide main window when "New QSO" window open - minimize the main window when you open "New QSO" window.
•  'Enable QTH and Name autocomplete in "New QSO" window' - automatically substitute the name and QTH from the available databases.
• "Enter" key save data (New QSO & Edit QSO dialogs) '- to use the Enter button to save QSO.
• "Enter" key as "TAB" key (New QSO & Edit QSO dialogs) '- to use the Enter key to move between fields.
• 'Auto search in attached callbooks' - to use the auto search in the connected references of call signs.
• 'Use single field for QSO time' - use only the QSO start time or end time.
• 'Set QSO start time when' - set the QSO start time when leaving the call sign field, when leaving the field of transmitted or received RST, or manually.
• 'Frequency format' - format to display the frequency (the frequency in its complete form is always stored in the database).
• 'Restore windows on start' - restore the windows open at the end of the last session of AALog.
• 'Confirm exit from AALog' - this mark indicates the mandatory confirmation to exit the program.

Customize visible fields in the main window

Window Select fields has the general form wherever the log fields are configured. In the left pane there is a list of available (not displayed at this time) fields. In the right - the fields selected for display. Clicking on the button  or (or double left click on the name of the affordable field) moves the field from one list to another. To make your changes click OK.

Colors and fonts setting

Here you can customize the background color and font color used in the main program window. To change the color click on the triangle to expand the list of available colors. If you don't see the right color - choose any from the list: click 'None', then - 'Custom'. The standard palette of Windows where you can choose any color will open.

QSO list font is the standard window of Windows where you can select the font to display the log entries in the main window of AALog
