Check the 'Display award in the "Awards stat.
Window" if you want to see quick statistics on the award in the
window of the award statistics for a call sign. The fields
'Name' and 'Short name' - full and short names of the award. The name of
the field 'Short name' will be used in the window of the award statistics.
'Name of header' - the name of the column 'References list'. A
drop-down list 'Statistic field' is used to select a log field for
the statistics monitoring. The next two numbers define how many
characters and from which position of this field will be chosen.
If these numbers are equal to zero, the field value will be used entirely.
'Open' and 'Closed references list'. If references list varies with
new QSO (eg, a list WPX increases with each new operated prefix),
select Open ... for others - check Closed ... and create a references
list for the award by clicking on .
If the award terms limit QSO by territory
(in this example - 50 U.S. states), tick 'Valid only for' and using the
button add the appropriate prefixes from the
list (shown below). Wrong prefix may be removed by the button . If you want to completely clear the
entire list of prefixes - click .
For awards limited by the date of
execution tick 'Short term award' and indicate the date of the beginning
(from) and of the end (till) of the award implementation.
To have the statistics with LoTW and eQSL
confirmation, place a check 'LoTW compatible' or 'eQSL.cc
compatible'. |

Edit Award References window.
In the bottom frame of the window you can see
the current value of the selected line: Name of header (see Fig. Award
details) 'State', 'Description', and the nickname of the reference
'Ref. Alias'.
New and
Edit buttons allow you to manually add and
change the line in the reference list. There is a reminder for each
mode: View, New and Edit in the title of this frame.
If you have a fairly large share of
patience and perseverance, you can add the entire list of WAS
awards manually - just 50 rows of three values. After clicking the
Export button and saving the file you can share it
with other users of AALog. The best solution to create a reference
list is to use office software for creating formatted text files that can
then be imported into AALog.
Detail of the CSV file to import the list
of WAS awards:
"AK", "AK", "Alaska", "0" "AL", "AL",
"Alabama", "0"
The last digit in this example - a sign of
removal:
- "0" - valid at the present time
- "1" - now removed from the list of
awards.
