Some callsigns do not provide an unambiguous determination of
the location of the radio station. If necessary, you can manually change the
territory (DXCC) or zone (CQ, ITU). In the editing QSO window click the
icon beneath the callsign
(in the window of adding a new
connection select Set territory manually with the same symbol).
In the new
window Change territory info you can change the territory for DXCC and
zones for CQ and ITU.
In this example, call
EM1100UU is determined "by the rules" as an Antarctic station.
In fact, this special call sign is used from the territory of
Ukraine.
Check 'Display all' to see the full
list of prefixes and type in the Search box the first letters of the
prefix to which you want to change the Auto Detect. If the left of the
territory is the + symbol you can choose the area more accurately.
Some territories are located in several ITU or CQ zones. You can
also choose the right value. If you do not select a single
zone for this territory AALog will use the fist position from
list.
Click Set to store the new values. To
specify that the territory is set manually in the editing window QSO's
name is underlined. Areas defined manually in the future will not be
automatically overridden.
To clear manual settings click
Auto and AALog will set territory
automatically.
For convenience, the list of prefixes can be sorted as a prefix and under the name of the territory, click on the appropriate heading. Quick search in the Search field depends on the sort order.
Hint: You can use call.lst file to define exclusions. You can edit it by the notepad. Format is:
3D2AM=3D2[C]
HK5MQZ/0M=HK0M
HK3JJH/0M=HK0M
K5K=KH5K
K3J=KH3
K1B=KH1
N8S=KH8[S]
VK9AA=VK9C
